Graduate cybersecurity student at Northeastern University

Hi! I’m Pratik Mody and I’m currently in my 2nd semester of the Master of Science in Cybersecurity degree program at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences, Northeastern University. Staying true to my career goals of becoming a Digital Forensics & Incident Response specialist, I am currently enrolled in courses like Information System Forensics and Foundations of Information Assurance.

During my 1st semester at the Khoury College I managed to secure a GPA of 3.5/4.0 while studying courses like Decision Making for Critical Infrastructure & Cyberspace Technology and it’s Applications. These courses established foundational knowledge of Linux(Ubuntu) and Python in the context of cybersecurity and risk assessment for critical infrastructure.

I am looking to enhance my experience at cybersecurity graduate studies with real world practical experience by working in internships/co-ops as a cybersecurity/ IT security intern. I believe that I have a lot of knowledge and skills to offer considering my prior experience of more than 12 months as a Cybersecurity Analyst at one of the leading managed IT services companies in India.
